All staff have been ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ (Enhanced) checked and all regular parental helpers are required to undertake the process.
The Business Manager keeps a register of the applications. Newly appointed staff are subject to rigorous checks prior to starting work. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy DSLs have undertaken special training and all other adults have also received child protection training. Staff are vigilant for any sign of abuse or neglect and would report any concerns to the head teacher or deputy.
