At Barns Green we make music an enjoyable learning experience. We encourage all children to participate in a range of music experiences through which we aim to build up their love of music. Our music curriculum is creative, inclusive, diverse, memorable and ambitious.
We aim to introduce the children to a broad repertoire of music from the Western classical tradition, from the best popular music and music from around the world.
We aim to have a clearly sequenced and ambitious curriculum that incorporates all four key elements: singing, listening, composing and performing.
